Accessibility

Kestrel Orthodontics wants every patient to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Every page works with a keyboard alone and shows where the keyboard focus is. Text can be enlarged and spaced out, and the pages fit small screens without sideways scrolling. Pages are built with headings, landmarks, form labels and image descriptions for screen readers. Moving effects stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
How we check it
Last reviewed October 23, 2026: we checked every page with automated tests (axe-core, and the contrast of text against the photos behind it) and tested each type of page with a keyboard at phone and desktop sizes, including 400 percent zoom, wider text spacing and reduced motion.
Known limits
- We have not yet tested with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA or TalkBack) on real phones and computers.
- Contrast of text over photos was measured at two widths, phone (390 px) and desktop (1440 px), not at every width in between.
