Dr. Desmond Breckett finished dental school and then a residency in orthodontics, the extra training that makes a dentist an orthodontic specialist. He opened Kestrel Orthodontics on Corvelle Avenue in 2014.
Most of his day is spent with teenagers. That shapes the office: early appointments so students miss less school, text reminders, and plain answers for parents.
He also treats a growing number of adults, many of them parents of his teen patients.
Outside the office he coaches youth soccer and spends weekends on the water with his family.
